Vertical film effects for modern social edits
After Effects Project Vertical Film Burn Light Leaks is made for editors who want a raw, vintage inspired look in vertical content. The pack combines film burn transitions with cinematic light leaks, creating bright orange and red bursts that move across the frame and add instant energy. It is a practical way to connect shots while keeping the edit visually active.
The set includes ten distinct transitions, which gives you room to shape pace and mood without losing a consistent visual identity. That makes it useful for mobile reels, short social videos, fashion edits, travel vlogs, and urban lifestyle content, especially when you want the footage to feel more expressive than a basic cut. The vertical format also helps the transitions fit naturally into phone first viewing and current social media workflows. The After Effects Project Vertical Film Burn keeps the product’s main visual purpose clear across the described uses.
What you can do with it
This After Effects Project Vertical Film Burn Light Leaks is easy to apply and fully customizable, so it works well for fast turnaround jobs as well as more deliberate edits. The project file is well organized, which helps you move through the timeline quickly and make changes without clutter. It works in After Effects CC and does not require any plugins, keeping the setup simple.
The transitions layer dynamic light leaks over your footage, helping ordinary clips feel more cinematic and polished. Use them to create motion between scenes, build a nostalgic tone, or give social videos a stronger visual identity. Because the effects are designed as overlays and transitions rather than a fixed full scene treatment, they can adapt to different footage while still supporting your own edit style.
If your project needs a compact filmic transition pack for vertical storytelling, this asset offers a workflow friendly solution. It helps transform everyday mobile footage into something more stylized, while keeping the editing process efficient and easy to control.
